Cultural Symbols
Architecture of Ancient Rome is a model of classical architecture of Europe. Arched doors are the classics that have been inherited for 18 centuries in Europe, also known as arches.
(Arches: also called arched doors, the curved parts on the buildings such as bridges, doors and Windows.)
The common forms of arches includes horseshoe arches and flame arches.
The shape of curves, arc balls, and arches greatly enrich the architectural style and affect the styles of Byzantine, Gothic, Baroque, and Rococo etc. It is precisely because of the vital role of arches in architecture, so we call buildings as “architecture” and the designer of architeture as “architects”.
